Persuasive Writing Checklist

This should be looked at before, during, and after your writing. Check off each item only after you are sure it is completed.

opinion.

_____4. Each opinion/solution is stated in a separate paragraph with a

beginning, middle, and end.

_____7. My ideas are well organized.

_____8. I used the kind of persuasive vocabulary words that

helped me get my ideas across.

_____9. I focused on the topic. (I didn’t get off track or start telling

an unrelated story.)

opinion.
