       7 + 14 / 3 x 6= The result was 42.

Your teacher told you that her calculator showed a different answer when she punched in the numbers in the same sequence.

       7 + 14 / 3 x 6 = The result was 35.

 

Explain why the results are different by telling how the two calculators operate.
